CalTrans announced Monday that motorist should consider the significant delays at Last Chance Grade before traveling south of Crescent City on Hwy. 101.
Slide removal and prevention work continues at Last Chance Grade, and CalTrans is advising that travelers this week should anticipate 2-hour delays between 9:00am and 6:00pm and 30-minute delays outside of that time frame.
CalTrans will continue to utilize 24-7 spotters to make sure the traveling public is allowed safe passage as crews continue to progress. This schedule is subject to change with slide and other conditions.
