Sunshine Short-lived as Wet Weather to Return Late Friday

After a period of strong winter weather conditions throughout the northern California and southern Oregon area, a cold unstable air mass followed, with cold temperatures and scattered precipitation across the region.

By late Friday afternoon, a weaker storm system will move through the area and bring light rain and high elevation snow to southern Oregon northwest California into Saturday.
