Town & Country Supports Evacuated Pets

Town and Country Animal Clinic has taken in between 80 and 90 dogs and cats that have been evacuated due to the Chetco Bar Fire at no expense to the owners. Consequently, they have had an amazing outpouring from the community and many of their vendors from outside the area. On Wednesday, August 23rd, they received 1200+ pounds of dog and cat food from Hill’s Pet Nutrition.

Town & Country Animal Clinic stated that a portion of the food was kept at the clinic for the pets in their care. The rest was distributed to South Coast Humane Society, and to Ruth Leming Dixon and her volunteers for evacuated animals in the Gold Beach area. They are expecting more donations to flow in tomorrow. Town & Country Animal Clinic would like to thank everyone in our amazing community who have contributed to this very large undertaking.
