Azalea Middle School recently sent three athletes to the Oregon Middle School Meet of Champions on Friday, May 16th.
Elias Haro placed first in the 8th grade 200m hurdles with a personal record time of 26.80. Haro also finished 9th in the boys 100m hurdles with another personal best time of 15.23.
Leila Newman in the middle of the pack in the 7th grade girls 800m, finished 7th, in a personal best time of 2:27.65. Newman also placed 7th in the 7th grade girls 1500m with another personal best time of 5:00.01.
Tyler Camp, finished with a personal best 15.47 in the 7th grade boys 100m hurdles, and another personal best time of 27.82 in the 7th grade boys 100m hurdles.
