Senior, Zander Carlson, #15, starting the Bruin offense.

As play continued, a ball control game in a small space eventually becomes physical with petty fouling progressing to more aggressive fouling. This culminated in the games first scoring opportunity after a Chieftain foul in the penalty box awarded the Bruins a penalty kick 27:00 minutes  into the first half.

Senior midfielder, Neric Garcia, #11, would score in the second half.

The Bruins would fail to capitalize on the penalty and the ball control game continued with an occasional fast break through the others backline. The Bruin defense was consistently successful breaking down Rogue River attacks and getting the ball back to midfield.

It would be another Rogue River foul deep in their own half that would set up a direct free kick for the Bruins from just beyond the top of the penalty box. Senior midfielder, #12, Hunter Wilson, would beat the defensive wall and find the back of the net to score for the Bruins, with just 8:00 minutes left in the first half.
