High pressure off the coast continues to dominate the forecast as a late week warming trend is expected to bring interior afternoon highs above average, possibly reaching triple digits inland through the weekend.
Inland areas are forecast to see continued sunny skies into midweek with afternoon highs increasing into and through the weekend. Afternoon highs are expected to be above normal reaching the upper 90’s and possibly triple digits in some locations and morning lows in the low to mid 50’s.
Along the coast, sunny skies and warm afternoon temperatures are forecast to continue to close out the work week. A north northwest wind is expected along the coast with gusts reaching up 20mph. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the mid to upper 70’s, with morning lows cooling to the low 50’s.
