The target of an investigation into an individual believed to be selling fentanyl in Grants Pass by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team, was stopped in his vehicle by the Oregon State Police near the Robertson Bridge in Josephine County in early June.
A consent search of the individuals vehicle, identified as 40 year old Bryan Beaman, revealed 96.5 grams of fentanyl, 4 firearms (1 reported stolen), and an explosive device.

Beaman was lodged in the Josephine County Jail on multiple charges, including, Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Unlawful Possession of an Explosive Device. Beaman’s passengers, 32 year old Joshua Hamner, and 52 year old Bumpus McPhumpus Angeledes, are also pending charges related to Felon in Possession of a Firearm.
On Thursday, June 19th, members of the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team assisted Grants Pass Police with an additional call regarding Bryan Beaman at Walmart in Grants Pass. It was alleged that Beaman went into Walmart and dropped a bag of methamphetamine in the dressing room. A Walmart employee immediately reported the incident to the police, who arrested Beaman.
Rogue Area Drug Enforcement drug assisted executed a search warrant on Beaman’s vehicle revealing 327.1 grams of fentanyl and approximately $14,150 in cash.
Beaman was again lodged at the Josephine County Jail for Unlawful Delivery of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance – Fentanyl.
