According to a Thursday, December 18th Del Norte County Sheriff’s Office press release, an individual was arrested on multiple charges after an extended pursuit in Crescent City.
A vehicle chase ensued after a vehicle, operated by 46 year old Joshua Bolen of Crescent City, failed to yield to Del Norte County Sheriff’s deputies which reportedly led authorities to Scenic Creek Dr., behind Walmart.
After the vehicle pursuit, Bolen abandoned his vehicle before attempting to escape on foot, initiating a foot pursuit involving multiple deputies and other law enforcement agencies.
Bolen was located and apprehended hiding on private property on Cummins Road in Crescent City by two Del Norte County Sheriff’s Deputies.
Bolen was booked into the Del Norte County Jail on an outstanding felony warrant as well as willful evasion, resisting arrest and possession of drug paraphernalia.
