Multiple Warrants Reveal 7000 Marijuana Plants, Cash, and Guns

On Tuesday, June 17th,  the Josephine Marijuana Enforcement Team with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, United States Marshals Service, Bureau of Land Management, Drug Enforcement Agency, Internal Revenue Service and Illegal Marijuana Enforcement Team, executed three search warrants on three collocated parcels regarding an illegal marijuana grow operation in Cave Junction.

During the execution of the warrant, more than 7,000 marijuana plants were seized and destroyed. Additionally, two firearms and a large amount of cash were seized on scene.

The property also had multiple electrical, water, and solid waste code violations. These violations could result in the civil forfeiture of the property.

48 year old Jose Antonio Santos Licona and 41 year old Juan Santos Jarillo were both taken into custody and lodged in the Josephine County Jail for Unlawful Manufacturing of Marijuana and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana.
