Oregon State Police Marine Fisheries Team Assist Stranded Boaters Off the Oregon Coast

The Oregon State Police reported Wednesday afternoon, June 18th, that the Oregon State Police Marine Fisheries Team assisted three boaters of the Oregon coast.

According to the report, three boaters were left stranded when their boat stalled 12 miles from the coast of Newport.

The Oregon State Police Marine Fisheries Team was there to assist, towing the vessel approximately three miles while working closely with the U.S. Coast Guard Station Yaquina Bay to ensure a safe return for everyone on board.
