A strong low pressure system continues to circulate off the northern California and southern Oregon coast, pushing bands of precipitation onshore over the weekend, however, the National Weather Service has issued Winter Storm Warnings throughout southern Oregon and northern California ushering in a cold weather system expected to impact the region Monday night and Tuesday bringing snow levels down to 1,300′ by midweek.

Afternoon highs are expected to start the work week in the low to mid to low 40’s, falling to the mid to upper 30’s, with lows forecast to be in the low to mid to upper 20’s..
Along the coast, widespread rain is expected to continue to start the work week with chances of snow starting Monday evening. Temperatures are forecast to start the week in the mid 50’s, dropping to the mid 40’s as the week progresses for afternoon highs, with morning lows starting in the low 40’s before dropping to the low 30’s by mid week.
