Arrests for Alleged Grand Theft at Crescent City Home Depot

On Thursday, February 27th, the Crescent City Police Department concluded a collaborative investigation with the Home Depot Asset Protection team.

As a result of the collaborative investigation, two arrests were made at the Crescent City Home Depot Store.

Officer Miller and Crescent Police Chief Richard Griffin arrested one store employee and a local contractor on suspicion of burglary, grand theft and conspiracy. The total amount of the investigation accounts for almost 20 percent of the total theft loss for the Crescent City Home Depot Store for a year period.

The names of the subjects involved will not be released as the investigation is ongoing and will be forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for review.
