Curry Health Network Announces Coronavirus Precautions

It is the goal of Curry Health Network to maintain the highest level of safety for not only their patients and visitors, but for their staff who are tasked with providing compassionate, quality care for you and your loved ones.

To that end and effective immediately, the public will enter all facilities through a single entrance. A friendly staff member will ask each patient and visitor if they have symptoms of COVID19 defined by criteria currently identified by the Oregon Health Authority and Centers for Disease Control. If symptomatic, we will provide to them a face mask to wear throughout their visit.

All members of the public will enter the hospital building in Gold Beach (Curry General Hospital and Curry Medical Practice) through the Emergency Department entrance, which is located on the southeast corner of the building. Patients and visitors will find parking in the eastern-most lot most convenient. Entering through the lower level doors and the main entrance on the upper level will be prohibited.

All members of the public will enter Curry Medical Center in Brookings through the main entrance on the upper level, and will find it most convenient to park in the south (upper lot). Entering through the lower level (Specialty Clinic) doors will be prohibited. We will be asking staff to park in the lower level to make available to patients and visitors more parking in the upper level.

There is only one entrance to Curry Medical West in Gold Beach, and to Curry Family Medical in Port Orford. Visitors and patients will also be asked the screening questions and provided a mask if symptomatic.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding. Together, with your help, we can provide the safest environment for all concerned.
