High Pressure to Keep Skies Clear, but Winds Forecast to Cool Temperatures

High pressure continues to build off the coast keeping summer weather in the forecast to finish the work week and continue the mild temperatures and sunny skies through the weekend.

Inland, clear skies and warm temperatures continue before increasing clouds from a northwest wind cools temperatures from the mid 80’s to the low 70’s. Early morning lows will get down to the low 40’s with afternoon highs only getting to the upper 60’s to low 70’s.

Along the coast, early morning fog and marine layer will clear  to mostly sunny skies with areas along the northern California, Oregon boarder seeing off shore winds push closer bringing 14 to 23 mph winds, with gusts as high as 33 mph. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to stay in the upper 60’s to low 70’s.
