Strong high pressure off the coast are expected to continue the summer like hot temperatures into midweek placing most of the region in a “Heat Advisory” with temperatures reaching well into triple digits, with the the exception of the immediate coast.

Inland areas can expect to continue to see clear skies and rising temperatures with some areas reaching record highs going into midweek. Afternoon highs are expected to continue to warm as the workweek progresses, from the upper 90’s, reaching triple digits, with lows in the mid 60’s.
Along the coast, a weak onshore flow will make an early morning marine layer possible along the along the immediate northern California southern Oregon coastline under mostly clear afternoon skies. Temperatures are expected to increase as the week progresses reaching the mid to upper 80’s with morning lows in the mid to upper 50’s.
