Series of Four Quakes Shake Off the Oregon and northern California Coastline

Early Monday morning, June 29th, a small cluster of earthquakes ranging from 2.5 to 5.5 in magnitude struck off the Oregon and northern California coastline.

The first quake, the largest of four quakes, measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale, struck early Wednesday morning 135 miles west of Bandon, Oregon, at approximately 4:35am.

The next quake struck at 5:47am, just over 130 miles west of Langlois, Oregon measuring 3.9 in magnitude followed by a 2.9 magnitude quake just after 6:10am, 11 miles southwest of Eureka.

A fourth quake measuring 3.4 in magnitude struck later in the morning approximately 159 miles west of Port Orford just before 6:40am.

None of the four tremors developed a Tsunami, or Tsunami warnings.
