Dry and Cooler Weekend Forecast to be Short Lived

After a seemingly long period of consecutive days of precipitation, a ridge of high pressure established itself offshore pushing precipitation to the northern parts of the state and Washington.

In the valley, partly cloudy skies and patchy fog will accompany temperatures ranging from the mid 30’s with highs reaching the mid 50’s.

The coast could wake up to fog and morning drizzle Friday, clear skies and milder temperatures will finish Friday before a chance of rain moves into the area late Sunday. Weather poised to move into the area late Sunday is creating high surf conditions and National Weather Service High Surf Advisories that will continue into Sunday.
