U.S. Coast Guard Rescues Stranded Young Man from Cliff Face

On Saturday, June 12th, a U.S. Coast Guard helicopter rescue crew from the U.S. Coast Guard North Bend sector, assisted a young man off a cliff face after he had become stranded near Agate Beach.

Although the young man was reachable from shore, it was determined by on scene personnel that the climb up posed more risk of harm than a hoist.
