6,000 Pounds of Processed Marijuana Discovered in Raid

On Tuesday August 10th, the Illegal Marijuana Enforcement Team task force raided a black-market illegal marijuana warehouse in Central Point.

Investigations led authorities to a warehouse in Central Point and with assistance of the Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement detectives, discovered more than six-thousand pounds of processed illegal marijuana packaged for shipment with a street value of approximately $15 million, as well as nearly $5,000 cash.  

49 year old Agustin Rodriguez

The suspect, 49 year old Agustin Rodriguez of Lathrop, California, was arrested and lodged at the Jackson County Jail on felony charges of prohibited import or export, unlawful possession, unlawful manufacture, and conspiracy for unlawful distribution of a marijuana item.

The investigation is ongoing with detectives working additional suspect leads. No further information is currently available for release.
