62 Guns, Marijuana, Meth and Butane Honey Oil Lab Seized

On Monday, December 21st, special agents with the Humboldt County Drug Task Force served a search warrant on a residence of Humboldt County. This search warrant was authored for illegal weapons possession by the resident. 36 year old Nathan Waldenburg.

An agent from the Humboldt County Drug Task Force made a traffic stop and detained Waldenburg as he drove away from the residence. Waldenburg was found to have a concealed loaded gun in an ankle holster and a usable amount of methamphetamine in his pocket. Under the driver’s seat of the vehicle agents found an additional container of methamphetamine.

Agents searched the residence and located an additional 62 firearms that consisted of illegal assault rifles, guns with silencers, and guns with short barrels. In total 63 guns were located during the search warrant.

In a shop behind the house agents located a fully functional closed loop butane honey oil lab. Agents also located 33 pounds of processed marijuana and over 100 pounds of marijuana shake. The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Marijuana Eradication Team responded to the residence and safely dismantled the butane honey oil lab.

Waldenburg was transported to the Humboldt County Jail where he was booked on charges of Possession of controlled substance while armed, Manufacturing a controlled substance, Possession of cannabis for sale, Possession of methamphetamine, Carrying a concealed firearm, Possession of an assault weapon, Possession of a short-barreled rifle or shotgun, and Possession of a silencer.
