Two earthquakes struck off the northern California and Oregon coast Sunday, April 2nd.
The first of the two quakes struck very early Sunday morning, just 20 miles off the coast, just over 40 miles southwest of Eureka, 12 miles deep and registering 2.8 on the richter scale.
The second of the two struck just after 7:00pm early Sunday evening over 200 miles off the coast of Coos Bay, just over 6 miles deep and registering 3.8 on the richer scale.
Neither of these quakes generated a Tsunami or a Tsunami warning from the USGS.
