Sunny Warm Weather Short Lived as Showers Loom this Weekend

Low pressure has developed off shore and has begun to move into the area as the trough of high pressure responsible for the sunny, warmer weather moves to the east. A brief weather system is expected to push onshore bringing light rain Friday through Saturday afternoon.

Inland areas are forecast to see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies before cloudy skies begin to develop Friday afternoon with the chance of showers late Friday evening into Saturday. Lows are expected to be in the low to mid 40’s, with highs falling from the 80’s to the upper 50’s to low 60′ through the weekend.

On the coast, early morning localized fog is possible with increasing clouds Friday and breezy afternoon wind conditions possible for southern Oregon and northern California. Afternoon highs are expected to reach the mid 60’s, cooling to the upper 50’s for highs and early morning lows in the mid 40’s.
