Just like the weather lately, the Bruins Football Association Flag Football program is heating up as this year nears mid-season.

Through out the seasons, we have spoken with participating coaches to get their visions and what they hope everybody involved takes away from their flag football experience. This week we feature Coach Michael Kammeier, flag football coach for Team Dallas Cowboys in the 6th to 8th grade divisions.

Talking with coach Kammeier, coach of the Cowboys, we asked him what qualities he found important to pass on the children through out the season. “I have found that building team skills and working thru problems on the field is an important skill to take with them.” he said.

“It a great opportunity during the summer to get the kids outside and off the video games, working together on the field and seeing how competitive the kids are.”
