The Crescent City Police Department was dispatched to the Crescent City Burger King just before midnight late Thursday evening regarding reports of an alleged armed robbery.
Upon arrival, Crescent City Police identified 29 year old Kegan Sanderson as the suspect during their investigation based on evidence obtained through witness interviews and evidence located at the scene.
Officers spoke to Burger King employees who stated a male subject entered the restaurant via the back door with a knife and forced them to open the cash register. The suspect stole approximately $600-$700 in cash and left the area on foot.
Sanderson was wanted for robbery, and was listed as possibly armed with a knife.
At approximately 7:25pm, Friday evening, Sanderson was arrested by the Del Norte County Sheriffs deputies.
