Big Changes Forecast Through the Weekend

Another strong high pressure system off the northwest coast is expected to bring big changes to the weather pattern, bringing hotter weather as the workweek comes to an end. The hottest temperatures across the region are expected Sunday, continuing into early next week.

Inland areas are forecast to see continue seeing mostly clear skies and hot temperatures will generally increase for the remainder of this week and remain hot over the weekend into early next week.  Afternoon highs are expected to warm to triple digits over the weekend with lows forecast in the low to mid 60’s. 

Along coastal areas temperatures are forecast to continue warming into the weekend including along the coast south of Cape Blanco. A continued morning marine layer along the immediate coast and localized areas of morning fog under mostly sunny afternoon skies through weekend. Temperatures are expected to reach the low 80’s for highs in some areas with morning lows in the upper 50’s to low 60’s.
