After the southern edge of a weak trough brought cool temperatures with periods of localized rain and thunderstorms across southern Oregon and northern California on Sunday, cooler than normal temperatures are expected to start the work week across the region, warming as the week progresses.

Inland areas are forecast to see the return of mostly clear skies and warmer temperatures to start the week. Temperatures are expected to warm, with afternoon highs expected to range from the mid to high 80’s across the region, with lows forecast to be in the mid 50’s.
Mostly clear skies are forecast along the coast to start the week. Localized areas of fog and the usual marine layer along the immediate coast are expected to continue with temperatures expected to be in the upper 60’s to low 70’s for highs in most areas with morning lows in the mid 50’s.
