Quake Activity Continues Within Miles of Last Weeks Cluster of Quakes

Earthquakes continue to be active within miles of the cluster of quakes just a week ago after two more struck off the coast Sunday, September, 14th, one striking within the Blanco Fracture zone off of Port Orford, and the other striking further to the south off the coast of Eureka.

The first struck struck just before 5:30am Sunday morning, measuring 3.0 in magnitude, an estimated 35 miles southwest off the coast of of Eureka, California..

The second of the two temblors, approximately 108 miles west of Port Orford, at approximately 6:25am Sunday morning, initially measuring 3.0 on the Richter Scale and 6 miles deep.

Neither of the two tremors developed a Tsunami, or Tsunami warnings.
