After the remainder of a strong low pressure system brought moderate to locally heavy rain through the area Sunday, mostly clear skies and comfortable temperatures are forecast to start the workweek.
Patchy morning fog under mostly sunny skies are forecast for inland areas to start the workweek and continuing through midweek. Afternoon highs are expected to start in the upper 50’s, slowly rising to the low 70’s as the week progresses, with lows forecast to be in the upper 30’s to low 40’s.
Along the coast, mostly sunny skies and a slight 5-7 mph northwest afternoon breeze are expected to start the workweek and continue into midweek. Temperatures are forecast to reach the mid 60’s for highs in some areas, with morning lows in the mid 40’s to low 50’s.
