Two earthquakes struck off the coast Wednesday, October 29th, both striking near the Blanco Fracture zone off the central Oregon coast.
The first struck measuring 4.8 in magnitude just after 6:40am Wednesday morning, approximately 280 miles west of Coos Bay off the coast of central Oregon.
The second, and larger of the two temblors, struck approximately 260 miles west of Coos Bay off the coast at approximately 7:00am Wednesday, measuring 5.4 on the Richter Scale and 10 miles deep.
Neither of the two tremors developed a Tsunami, or Tsunami warnings.
