Execution of Two Warrants Results in Fentanyl, Meth, Cash, Ammunition, Weapons and 16 Arrests

Del Norte County Sheriff’s deputies served an additional search warrant on Tuesday, October 14th, related to the sales of narcotics on the south end of Waldo Street that had occurred earlier in the month where during the search warrant service, deputies contacted over 20 people resulting in 16 arrests including Gregorio Perez, related to illegal drugs and/or outstanding warrant violations.

This search warrant stemmed from information regarding Keith Hulford furnishing drugs, specifically fentanyl, to subjects in the area. Deputies contacted Hulford at his residence.

While executing the search warrant at Hulford’s residence, deputies located packaging materials, scales, methamphetamine, cash, and ammunition. There were was California Identification cards not belonging to any subjects at the residence and Hulford and 3 other subjects were detained. 

Hulford was transported and booked at the Del Norte County Jail for possession narcotics for sale, maintaining a drug house, felon possessing ammunition. It was learned that Hulford had at least two prior drug convictions, and an additional charge was added.

Gregorio Perez was found to be in possession of approximately 23 grams of suspected methamphetamine which was possessed with intent to sell. Deputies also located a pistol grip shotgun and metal knuckles in Perez’ trailer and Perez was booked at the Del Norte County Jail.

Hulford was transported and booked at the Del Norte County Jail for possession narcotics for sale, maintaining a drug house, felon possessing ammunition. It was learned that Hulford had at least two prior drug convictions, and an additional charge was added.
