A strong ridge has developed off the California and southern Oregon coasts pushing the onshore flow primarily to the north and will continue to impact northern Oregon and southern Oregon before the flow of moisture diminishes into the weekend.

Inland areas are expected to see cloudy skies and rain replaced by mostly clear skies and sunny afternoons into the weekend. Patchy dense fog is expected in the morning, clearing by noon with afternoon highs reaching the upper 50’s to low 60’s, with lows forecast to be in the low to mid 40’s.
Along the coast, slight chances of localized showers are expected to continue into Thursday morning with dense localized fog and a marine layer along the immediate coast before clearing to mostly sunny afternoon skies. Chances of rain return Sunday with temperatures forecast to be in the upper 50’s to low 60’s for highs, with morning lows in the upper 40’s.
