The Curry County Sheriff’s Office is working together with the Oregon State Police to maintain a heavy police presence in the Agness area as road patrols continue as authorities continue to search for a wanted individual after eluding authorities at Lucas Lodge in Agness.
Searches continue for Kenneth Leatherwood out of Bastrop, Texas, is NOT on the FBI’s top 10 most wanted list and is NOT wanted for murder charges, however, Leatherwood is wanted for sex related crimes involving a minor, as well as a stolen vehicle and reported stolen weapons.
Leatherwood is a white male adult, late thirties. 5’10″, 200 lbs, with brown hair and green eyes, and was last seen wearing an ivory t-shirt, blue jeans, and cowboy boots.
The Curry County Sheriff’s Office advises that Leatherwood is believed to be armed and possibly dangerous, and should not be approached or contacted.
