Air Quality Advisories to End the Week as Temperatures Warm

Air quality alerts remain in effect for much of southern Oregon due to surrounding wildfires as a ridge of high pressure is currently directing any moisture or weather systems to the north, resulting in a rise in temperatures as the work week comes to an end.

Temperatures are forecast to rise into the weekend, under hazy and or smokey skies. Although still relatively cooler for late summer, temperatures are expected to see highs in the mid to upper 90’s. Morning lows are forecast to be as low as the low 50’s.

Coastal regions will see hazy and localize smokey skies into Saturday, warming on the coast with late summer highs reaching the low 80’s in some areas and lows in the mid 50’s.
