Arrests Made in Dutch Bros. Robbery

As reported in the Wild Coast Compass earlier in the week, on Monday, April 23rd, at approximately 2:30 am an armed robbery was reported at the Dutch Bros. Coffee located at 638 Redwood Hwy.

It was reported that a masked male had approached the stand on foot and had pointed a gun at the barista. The employee ran out the back door where they contacted the police.

The suspect took an undisclosed amount of cash from the tip-jar.

Shortly after the Grants Pass Department of Safety patrol arrived a search for the suspect and of the area was conducted with a Police K-9 resulting in no results.

Video from the business was obtained and Detectives also responded and continued the investigation over the following days.

On Thursday, April 26th, three suspects were identified as taking part in this incident. All three were arrested and interviewed by detectives.

At the conclusion of the interviews, all three suspects were detained for Robbery in the first degree.

Two of the arrested are juveniles, and subsequently, their names and photos are not able to be released. One adult, Darin Aguilar, was involved and is being detained at the Josephine County jail.
