Atmospheric River Brings Rain for Weekend

Stormy weather is forecast to continue for the Pacific Northwest as an active and wet pattern containing a strong atmospheric river will bring periods heavy lower elevation rain and heavy mountain snow throughout the Cascades.

A series of Pacific cold fronts will continue to drive strong onshore flow and surges of moisture to result in heavy lower elevation rainfall and Coastal hazards, prompting high surf and high wind warnings along the coastal areas.
