Late Tuesday Afternoon Bank Robbery takes Suspect Down Dead End, and Arrest

Just after 4:35pm, Tuesday, March 15th, the Grants Pass Police Department received a 911 phone call where Key Bank on Williams Hwy. reported the bank had just been robbed.

Police officers responded to the area, where the suspect was reportedly last seen on foot near Walgreens, searching for the suspect after setting up a perimeter and containing the area.

Approximately seven minutes after the robbery occurred, officers located a vehicle related to the suspect that had left the bank area earlier, traveling south on Allen Creek Rd. The suspect vehicle continued to the end of Allen Creek Rd. and turned onto Denton Trail, a dead-end road.

The vehicle’s sole occupant, 46-year-old Bradley Erichsen, was contacted and taken into custody without further incident. Subsequent investigation revealed evidence to arrest and lodge Erichsen on robbery and theft charges.
