The Brookings location of Wild River Pizza will be closed Thursday, August 23rd after suffering a “mechanical malfunction”.
Just before 8:30 pm Wednesday night, a mechanical malfunction with a deep fryer severely injured at least one employee sending the employee to the hospital.
Details of the incident are not yet fully known, however, the Brookings location of Wild River Pizza has announced that due to the incident they will not be open Thursday (Today) as the problem is investigated.
No other details are available at this time and the WIld Coast Compass will update as more information becomes available.
