Bruin Boys Soccer Earn Home Field for Wednesday Afternoons First Round Play-Off

The Bruin varsity boys soccer team who completed their 2020/2021 season undefeated in league play, received their placement in the post-season playoff tournament and will host their first game at home against the Santiam Christian Eagles Wednesday afternoon.

The Bruin boys soccer team, who finished the season with an overall record of 12-1 and ranked #4 by the OSAA, will match-up with a Santiam Christian team ranked #32 by OSAA, who finished their season 4-7-2.

Santiam Christian will make the 5 hour drive from Adair Village, OR, to Brookings for Wednesday afternoons match-up at 3:00pm. The Eagles will be coming into the game after a two game win streak on the road to finish their season with wins against the LaPine Hawks, and the 7-5-2 Central Linn Cobras.

The Bruin boys, finished their season on a win streak of their own after scoring 66 goals in their 2020/2021 season while the defense allowed only 6 goals against them in 13 games.

The Bruins only loss of the season is also shared by Santiam Christian after both team lost to the same #7 OSAA ranked Pleasant Hill Billies earlier in the season.

The #4 Bruins and #32 Eagles face-off at 3:00pm, Wednesday, November 3rd at Bruin field.
