The local event ChariTree 2017 is this Saturday, December 2, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Grange Hall on Hwy 101 and Shopping Center Ave.
ChariTree raises money for local non-profit organizations where live, fully decorated Christmas trees and wreaths are won by the highest bidder in silent auctions.
Santa will be there from 11:30 am until 3:30 pm. Children can enjoy shopping for gifts in the Children’s store where all items are $1.00 and they gift wrap.
Lunch is available for $5 from 11:30am until 3:30pm.
Guests will have the opportunity to bid on trees and wreaths in the silent auction until 3:45 pm and winners will then be notified by phone. Winners will be able to pick up their trees beginning at 4:15 pm.
You will have the chance to vote for your favorite tree and the ‘Peoples Choice Award’ will be announced at 4:00 pm.
Admission is free, so bring the family and enjoy some Holiday cheer!
