After being closed since March 23rd, when notifications from the Oregon Health Authority were released on June 11th, the City of Brookings’ announced that playgrounds are now open.
Many areas of the parks were opened in May. However, playgrounds were not. The Governor’s office and Oregon Health Authority came out with modifications and new interpretations for Phase 2 guidelines that allowed the opening of Outdoor playgrounds.
Easy Manor Park is open, and the playgrounds in Azalea Park are also open for use.
