City of Brookings Parks and Recreation to Discuss Future Replacement of Kidtown Playground

The City of Brookings Parks and Recreation Commission will be hosting a town hall meeting at 7:00pm Thursday evening, October 21st, to discuss the future replacement of the Kidtown playground and build options for a new Kidtown at Azalea Park.

Kidtown is approaching its 27th year of providing a safe and fun place for youth to play and we would like to hear from the community on what Kidtown should look like in the future.

Current options are to keep the play structure very similar to the unique style it is now or to build a more traditional style playground.

The City of Brookings Parks and Recreation Commission would like to encourage people to share their memories of Kidtown and assist in the next generations use.
