Cool Temperatures and Localized Showers Possible in Work Week Forecast

A stream of unstable air is forecast to continue to bring mostly clear to partly cloudy skies pushing onshore isolated pockets of precipitation locally, with a considerable drop in temperatures expected as the work week progresses.

Inland temperatures are going to be much cooler than the previous week at this time, widely varying locally as the unstable air creates opportunities for locally isolated precipitation mid-week. Temperatures are expected to range from the mid 30’s for lows, to the upper 60’s for highs, again varying regionally and locally.

On the coast, misty mornings will continue as the marine layer continues to persist with local areas of precipitation possible as unstable pockets of air pass over the area. Temperatures on the coast will remain steady, with lows in the lower 40’s and highs getting to 60 later in the week.
