Cooler Temperatures for Weekend with Warming Next Week

Temperatures are forecast to be slightly cooler in interior areas of southwest Oregon and northwestern California this weekend. A steady increase in temperatures is expected to begin Monday reaching triple digits early next week.

On the coast temperatures are expected to be warm and breezy in most areas with low temperatures in the mid to upper 50’s in the evenings and highs reaching the upper 70’s in some areas.

Gale and Hazardous Seas Warnings are in place across the outer coastal waters through this weekend.

Increasingly strong northerly winds and steep seas have prompted Small Craft Advisories that are in effect for the inner waters, where conditions will not be as severe, but still locally strong winds and steep seas will develop this weekend,
