Del Norte County Spikes as Social Distancing Eases

Curry County has reported added one new case of COVID-19 this week after an employee from Brookings tested positive at work in Crescent City bringing the total of confirmed cases to 5 with 4 recovered. Coos County to the north, recorded only 1 new confirmed cases this past week, raising their total to 31 as now only 3 Oregon counties remain with no confirmed cases of the Coronavirus.

Josephine County went into the week with 25 COVID-19 cases and added no new confirmed case in the week which leaves Josephine County at 25. Jackson County went into the week with added only 2 new confirmed cases as of May 21st and now sits at 52 total confirmed cases.
Del Norte County Department of Health and Human Services Public Health Officer Warren Rehwaldt, M.D., has reported 16 new cases in Del Norte County as of Thursday, May 21st, and now holds at 20 confirmed cases and 4 confirmed recoveries in Del Norte County.

Humboldt County to the south of Del Norte County added 15 new cases and the county now has 88 confirmed positive cases, with 20 active cases, 66 recoveries and 2 deaths.
