Drug Bust Seizes 16.5 Pounds of Meth

On Thursday, September 26th, Harry Douglas St. Clair was taken into custody by Rogue Area Drug Enforcement detectives after a secret indictment warrant was issued. St. Clair was indicted by a Josephine County Grand Jury on multiple charges related to s Methamphetamine’s after Rogue Area Drug Enforcement detectives had gone to his residence, located in Grants Pass, and seized over 16.5 pounds of methamphetamine and $12,000 dollars in cash on Monday, September 2nd.

The seizure of over 16 pounds of methamphetamine from a single person, is believed to be the largest seizure by Rogue Area Drug Enforcement detectives since there inception. A prior 10 pound seizure of methamphetamine from Teri McManus back in September of 2017, was believed to be the largest at that time. McManus is currently serving a 9 year prison sentence with the Oregon Department of Corrections.

The contact and later arrest of St. Clair, was the result of prior investigations done by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement detectives over the past year into mid to street level methamphetamine dealers within Josephine County.
