Two Arrested After Search Warrant Discovers Four Pounds of Fentanyl, Meth, Guns and Cash

The Rogue Area Drug Enforcement team and the Drug Enforcement Administration Medford Office executed a search warrant Thursday morning, April 18th, in Grants Pass.  

During the execution of the search warrant, approximately four pounds of fentanyl, approximately $35,000.00 of U.S. currency from suspected illegal drug proceeds, thirteen firearms, three of which were found to be stolen, over 12 ounces of methamphetamine, an ounce of cocaine, an ounce of Psilocybin mushrooms, and other controlled substances were discovered.  

Two individuals, identified as 47 year old, Brandon Ruppel, and 52 year old Laura Berry were transported and lodged in the Josephine County Jail for PCS Schedule II, MCS/DCS Controlled Substance within 1000’ of a school, and Felon in Possession of a weapon.

An additional occupant of the residence, 50 year old Jason Ruppel, was cited and released on multiple drug crimes and firearms charges.
