Heat Advisories have again been issued by the National Weather Service as again another round of high pressure over the four corners region is forecast to build north towards and strengthen over the Pacific Northwest later in the workweek and into this weekend.

Inland from the coast, skies are forecast to be clear and sunny, with very warm temperatures as the southwestern high pressure system circulates extremely hot air into southwest Oregon and northwest California with highs in the valley reaching the upper 100’s over the weekend.

Along the immediate coast, if a morning marine layer or localized fog does develop, mostly clear sunny skies will dissipate the low cloud cover with afternoon high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 70’s.
