Heat Advisory Remains in Effect Inland, Coast To See Little Change

The stubborn dome of high pressure responsible for breaking high temperature marks up and down the northwest, continues to circulate high temperatures into the region. Temperatures will remain high as the coast will see little change in the weather pattern.

Inland high temperatures in the triple digits will continue through the work week, with some relief as temperatures are forecast to reach only 102 in some areas. Generally temperatures will be in the upper 90’s to low 100’s in most areas, with lows getting to 60.

Coastal areas are forecast to see much of the same to start the work week. The early morning marine layer and localized fog will remain until late morning opening up to mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies warming in the afternoons. Low temperatures along the coast will remain in the mid 50’s with high temperatures reaching up to the low 70’s in some areas.
