High Pressure to Keep Skies Clear and Temperatures Warm through Weekend

High pressure continues to spin off the coast, steering weather systems to the north through the weekend, keeping temperatures above normal for most of southern Oregon and northern California.

Inland areas are forecast to see mostly clear skies with a slight wind possibly getting to 14mph later in the weekend. Temperatures are expected to be above normal with highs in the low 90’s Friday, but cooling to the mid 80’s as the weekend closes.

Coastal regions will continue to see widespread early morning fog with partly cloudy skies breaking through in the afternoon. A stratus layer will be present for most of the coast after the marine layer clears while other spots will have mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Afternoon high temperatures are expected to be in the mid to upper 60’s with lows in the low 50’s.
