High Pressure to Usher in the Warmest Temperatures of the Year

After showers and cooler temperatures to started the week, high pressure has again established off the coast and will usher in the warmest temperatures of the year under clear sunny skies through the weekend.

Inland areas can expect to see clear skies and rising temperatures after starting the workweek with rain and cool temperatures. Afternoon highs are expected to warm as the week progresses, starting in the upper 80′ before reaching triple digits to close the weekend, with lows in the upper 50 ‘s to low 60’s.

Along the coast, a breezy afternoons are possible under mostly clear skies  temperatures increasing into the weekend. Temperatures are expected to be in the low to mid 50 ‘s for lows, with highs expected to increase as the week progresses starting in the upper 70’s before reaching the mid 80’s.
